Pixels per Inch (PPI/DPI) Calculator

This calculator will tell you how many pixels per inch (PPI, also known as DPI, which is dots per inch) a screen has. Pixels per inch is exactly what it sounds like: how many pixels there are in an inch of screen, which is also known as pixel density. This is important because the higher the number of pixels in an inch, the better the picture quality of the screen will be. The inputs for the calculation are the following: \(w_p\): the width of the screen in pixels, \(h_p\): the height of the screen in pixels, and \(d_i\): the diagonal of the screen in inches.
We have already attempted to to enter your screen resolution below, if this is incorrect or if you'd like to calculator the PPI of another screen or image, please change it.
